About Us
Meșendorf Gasthaus is located between Brașov and Sighisoara, behind an old Saxon gate, at the foot of the Transylvanian Hills and perfectly combines rural charm with modern facilities, being the ideal place for a special celebration.
We can host events of up to 90-100 people.
The party and festive dinner can be organized outdoors, on the orchard terrace, or inside, in the events barn.
The civil and religious ceremony can be organized in our orchard and inner courtyard.
The accommodation capacity is for maximum 49 people in 16 rooms* (6 double, 3 triple and 7 family rooms for up to 4 people).
*For additional accommodation we are happy to recommend neighboring guesthouses.
About the event
Your event will include the festive dinner and the party, but also two nights' accommodation, so that you can fully enjoy the time spent with your loved ones, in a natural setting, surrounded by Transylvanian forests and hills.
The reservation is made for the entire house (16 rooms) for 2 nights of accommodation with breakfast.
Additionally, the event package includes exclusivity for the entire guest house (including the dining room, living room, library room, hunter's lounge, courtyard and orchard), sound system, mobile deck for the dance floor and/or podium and local coordination of the event.
For the festive dinner we work with our partners from Casa Terra & GourmeTraditional under the guidance of Chef Elena Daniela Graură, and for the bar we can provide you with a full menu of drinks.
Casa Terra & GourmeTraditional
Casa Terra proposes a reinterpreted Romanian menu, built with natural and local ingredients, and integrated in the Meșendorf Gasthaus spirit of combining the new with the old.
The event starts with a series of delicious and fresh appetizers, followed by main courses according to your taste and selection.
The menu can be modified with other dishes or influenced by the season and the taste tones of other cuisines. The course of the meal is influenced by the location and theme of the event, age categories and nationality of the guests and the duration of the meal. In addition, the tableware and waiters' outfits can be adapted to the theme.
The final menu is created together with you after a discussion and tasting session.
Good To Know
We do not provide the following services and they are not included in our offer: general event planning, decorations and floral arrangements, graphics and prints, bar and bartender, DJ and entertainment, cake, candy-bar. We do however have a list of suppliers that we can recommend with confidence.
On request, we can organize a welcome dinner on Friday and a brunch on Sunday, so that you and your guests can take full advantage of your celebration weekend.
Because we are part of a community, the music volume must be turned down to a medium level starting at 12:00 at night, and the cut-off time for the party is 04:00 in the morning.
